On January 31, the event “SostenibiliTiAmo” took place at the Honda Italia plant. The event, organized by the “Circolarmente” Association, brought together businesses, universities, and political institutions to discuss the transition to sustainability based on ESG principles (Environmental, Social and Governance).

During the meeting, concrete examples were presented on how to integrate these principles into business strategies, with a focus on emission reduction, diversity and inclusion, and transparent governance. The importance of measuring and communicating results to build trust with stakeholders and foster continuous improvement was emphasized.

Speakers highlighted the key role of universities in preparing future generations and the need for more effective dialogue between businesses and institutions to harmonize regulations. Furthermore, the discussion addressed how companies are tackling sustainability challenges, promoting the transition to a low-carbon economy. The event concluded with a call for collective action to transform sustainability into an opportunity for a better future.

Antonio Decaro, president of the Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety Committee of the European Parliament, participated remotely.
