On Saturday, 11 July, the NIQI 2026 Local Convention came to a close, marking the culmination of a journey that involved 36 working groups (9 NI and 27 QI) and approximately 200 people, including participants, tutors, jury members and organisers. This achievement reflects the widespread adoption of a culture of continuous improvement and the ability of our people to look at processes from new perspectives, generate ideas and turn them into concrete projects. Also noteworthy were the 16 projects submitted by suppliers.
The projects presented addressed a wide range of topics, from quality and safety to digitalisation and the application of Artificial Intelligence, once again demonstrating how NIQI serves as a powerful engagement tool and a tangible opportunity for people to contribute to the development of Honda Italia.
Six teams will travel to Barcelona
Six teams have been selected and will have the opportunity to represent Honda Italia at the EAME NIQI Convention, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from 16 to 18 September 2026.
The selected teams reflect a remarkable diversity, both in terms of the divisions and sections they come from and in terms of gender, age and background. It is precisely this diversity that represents one of the greatest strengths of this initiative and, more broadly, of the Honda Italia community.
